This classic work sock style beanie is named in honour of the mines in my small town, and the miners who worked in them to provide a living for their families. Make yours in the classic gray with red stripe style, or get creative with your colour choices.
This pattern is suitable for beginners.
Makes an adult beanie (fits approximately 21-23" head circumference)
You'll need: 8mm 16" circular knitting needles (or size to meet gauge), 8mm DPNs (or size to meet gauge, or none if you've mastered Magic Loop!), 3 colours of super bulky yarn (ie. Lion Brand WoolEase Thick & Quick) 1 stitch marker Scissors Tapestry needle Pompom (optional)
